Denied

Dear blog,

Why do humans go ahead with decisions despite knowing that there are alternatives that are more morally right?

Because they are selfish? Because there is a chance of getting away with it without bearing any consequences?

Why do humans only repent when they see that the odds are proving them wrong; and that they now have to pay the price for their reckless decisions?

Do they not see it coming? & if they do, why did they still take that risk ultimately?

Because you only live once?

It's true that everyone makes wrong decisions some point in their lives. I've always thought I know what is the right thing to do, but apparently not. I have just proved to myself how handicapped I am with life. I made so many wrong decisions. Because I have happily thrown my brain away while listening to my heart. & this is not acceptable. I have to do something about it.

Mistake is not making wrong decisions. Mistake is insisting on the wrong decision despite knowing that it is wrong. There is this element of knowledge that makes it a mistake.

& what is regret? You should only regret if you've consciously choose to make a wrong decision.

So actually for first-timers, you won't know whether it's right or wrong until you actually do it. If it didn't turn out well just don't make the same wrong decision again. But don't regret taking the plunge because you have gain some knowledge pertaining to that situation.

Life is about taking risks, learning from your lessons & remembering them for the rest of your life.
